Bio
Siwaraya is a writer, poet, and performer whose work has been commissioned by the Department of Cultural Affairs City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and Philadelphia Asian Performing Artists. She is a Voices of Our Nations Artists alum and the founding member of The Decades, a multidisciplinary intergenerational group of Black and Asian women artists. Siwaraya has consulted on the New York off-Broadway premiere of Brothers Paranormal, NCIS: New Orleans, as well as poetry and children’s books. Her work is in the anthology "We the Gathered Heat: Asian American and Pacific Islander Poetry, Performance, and Spoken Word".
